Our Mission
OJEFA is dedicated to the education and support of outdoor communicators and their efforts to promote the wise and ethical use of our wildlife and natural resources, with an emphasis on developing and implementing programs to encourage such communications among young people.
Education
To plan, develop, implement, and maintain education programs for middle- and high-school students
Scholarships
To award opportunity-based scholarships to students aspiring to be outdoor communicators through the Lindsay Sale-Tinney Award
Mentoring
To establish and maintain mentoring programs between aspiring and established communicators
Ambassadors
To establish and maintain a network of ambassadors to help promote outdoors communications
Recognition
To recognize excellence in the field of outdoor communications on a state, regional, and national level
Partnerships
To partner with allied industry leaders in all efforts to encourage, promote, and support outdoor communications
